In collaboration with the Municipal Library, children divided by class will go to the library with their teacher to lead animated reading activities with the librarians. The purpose of these outings is to encourage children to visit the library and to inspire them to read picture books.
This year, a dedicated reading area has also been set up within the school, a space separate from the class so that children can have a suitable place to gather and experience the joy of reading with their classmates. We intend to include small books with text translated using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), which introduces children to the world of reading and writing through images and facilitates independent reading.
